We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again; an elegant at-home wedding is our favourite! Perhaps that’s because we had an at-home wedding ourselves? Or perhaps it’s because we’ve been a part of plenty now and they’re always such beautifully relaxed affairs. And who doesn’t love relaxed, chilled-out wedding day?! If that’s your jam as well, then here are some other things Abi & Lawrie did to make sure their day was as relaxed as possible.

Firstly, there was zero ‘fluff’ - nothing that didn’t add to the experience of the day. Nothing unnecessary. Just the essentials. Perfect. Next, they surrounded themselves with the people who really mean something to them. And they made sure they had maximum time with all those people, with minimal ‘formalities getting in the way. The most important thing on your wedding day is having time to actually experience the day you’ve spent your time and energy planning. You’re also going to want to make sure you and all those awesome people around you have a damn good feed, so grab yourself a killer caterer, like Minno Kitchen. Katy and her team are *chefs kiss and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

Finally, once the dinner is done, you’re going to want some amazing evening entertainment to dance the night away to. Abi & Lawrie were lucky enough to have an Ibiza DJ in the family, so they were all set. But, whatever you’re after, band or DJ, our little black book is full of great options, so we’ve got you covered.
